15 best musical series: full list
Who likes to watch things in streaming services he is often looking for directions. So we have several such lists, with wild west movies, excellent documentaries and even the best anime of 2019. Now, we have selected the best musical series from this list!

1. Go! Live Your Way
We started our list with one of the best Netflix series of the type, of Argentine origin, created by Sebastián Mellino, Go! Live Your Way. So far, it has two seasons of fifteen episodes.

2. Glee
Glee is the most famous series of its kind, which spans six seasons and focuses on members of the William McKinley School singing club.

3. The Defiant Ones
One of the best musical series is The Defiant Ones, a documentary miniseries directed by Allen Hughes that aired on HBO in 2017.
Focuses on the careers and partnership of co-founders, Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, from one of the biggest music gear companies, Beats Electronics. It has four episodes, all available on Netflix, one of the best sites to see movies and series.
4. Z4
A Brazilian series produced by Disney Channel in partnership with SBT is Z4, directed by Márcio Trigo and screenplay by Newton Cannito. The cast includes Gabriel Santana, Pedro Rezende and Manu Gavassi.

5. Luis Miguel – The Series
Another excellent Netflix series on our list is that of Luis Miguel, a Mexican superstar singer, who has managed to captivate audiences across Latin America.

6. Dolly Parton – Touching the Heart
Another biographical series, Touching the Heart follows the story of Dolly Parton, telling all the stories, memories and inspirations behind 8 of her most famous songs.

7. The Get Down
If you like watch series, checking out The Get Down is almost necessary. It is a musical drama created by Baz Luhrmann and Stephen Adly Guirgis that has only one season, shown in 2016.
It takes place in 1977, in New York, and tells the story of how the city gave rise, in the Bronx, to hip-hop. It takes place at the end of the Disco Music era, with a focus on poor teenagers. Click the link to see!

Another of the best musical series is Soundtrack, of American origin created by Josh Safran and which was released in 2019.

9. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
One of the best comedies of the genre, which is among the most popular series on Netflix, is Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which started in 2015 and had its fourth and final season in 2019.
It was created by Rachel Bloom and Aline Brosh McKenna, and has the first of them in the main role. She tries at all costs to get back together with her teenage boyfriend, moving from New York to California. Watch now on Netflix, one of the best streaming services!
10. Mozart in The Jungle
A series that mixes comedy and drama, Mozart in The Jungle was developed by Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman, Alex Timbers and Paul Weitz. Inspired by a memoir entitled Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs, and Classical Music.

11. Vinyl
Vinyl is created by Mick Jagger and features Bobby Cannavale in the lead role of Richie Finestra, a record label executive in the 1970s.

12. Atlanta
One of the best musical series is Atlanta, created by Donald Glover, who is also part of the cast, writes, produces and directs the series.

13. POSE
POSE is an American drama series set in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The cast includes Evan Peters, Kate Mara and Indya Moore.

14. Rhythm + Flow
Ritmo + Flow is a Netflix reality show, launched in 2019. It is the platform's first original music competition.

45 RPM is an excellent Netflix international series, of Spanish origin, created by Ramón Campos and Gema R. Neira. The cast includes Carlos Cuevas, Guiomar Puerta and Iván Marcos.
