Confidential Affairs is another of the best spy series on our list, with Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham in the lead roles.

5. The Time Between Seams
Tempo Entre Costuras is one of the Netflix series of Spanish origin. It is an adaptation of a book of the same name, also Spanish.

6. Black List
A criminal and police series that fits the list is Black List, with Diego Klattenhoff, Ryan Eggold and Harry Lennix in the cast.

7. Homeland – National Security
Another excellent American series is Homeland, developed by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa based on an Israeli series, Prisoners of War.

An Israeli miniseries, The Spy is directed and written by Gideon Raff and Max Perry. It has many positive reviews, with excellent performances.

9. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Ideal for those who like to watch series of heroes, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is one of the best spy series. Created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, it is part of the Marvel cinematic universe.

10. The Very Secret Service
A French comedy series, A Very Secret Service is created by Jean-François Halin and features Hugo Becker, Wilfred Benaiche and Christophe Kourotchkine in the cast.
