Amazon Affiliate Registration: Membership is simple and free

What you need to know before
In order for the affiliate program system not to be used to take advantage of something, there are some requirements and obligations that you must follow. This is true even before registering with Amazon Affiliates, as you may not be approved by the company if you do not agree with its terms.
To register with Amazon Affiliates, for example, you must have a website with original content that is available to the public. This site must follow the rules below:
- It cannot promote violence, misleading materials, spread of hatred, obscene content, etc.
- Must not be directed at minors
- Must not have any Amazon trademark
- You must not infringe intellectual property rights

With that in mind, let's move on to our Amazon Affiliate registration.
Amazon Affiliate Signup
To get started, you must go to the Amazon Membership Portal, which you can do by accessing the following link. It is here that you learn more about the program, but it is also where we started our registration.
Step 1: already inside the member portal, you just need to click on "Continue".
Step 2: You will then be taken to the Amazon login page, so just sign in with your existing account or create a new one. Only a simple account is not enough, so Amazon will take you to a member account creation page.
She will use your normal account details, but will still ask you some questions. First, see if your name and address are in agreement, as this information is important for the company to know who will receive the commission payment.
Step 3: with that verified, scroll down a bit on the same page and answer both questions. Basically, just tell us who is the main contact for this account and if you are a US citizen.
Step 4: The next step is to insert the link to your website or app. Basically, this is where you plan to disclose Amazon affiliate links.
As we mentioned before, it must be something that the general public has access to and that doesn't contain anything that goes against Amazon's terms. Insert the links and click on “Next”.
It is worth saying that Amazon will review this before deciding whether you will be approved or not in the membership program.
Step 5: on the next page, you must complete a long registration with Amazon Affiliates. The first part is to choose a member ID of your choice.
You should also give a brief description of what your sites or apps are. Other than that, select which subjects are most related to your sites and apps.
Step 6: moving on when filling out your profile, select what type of Amazon products you want to publish on your site. Also tell us what kind of website you have when selecting from the available options.
Going to the "Traffic and Monetization" part, select how you generate traffic to your website.
Step 7: Now, just finish answering the last questions on Amazon Affiliate registration. This includes how you generate income for the site, how you create links, how many visitors you have on the site per month, etc.
Step 8: when you finish answering everything, scroll to the bottom of the page. There, insert the image code and read the terms of the member program agreement.
If you agree, check the box saying you agree. Then, click on the “Finish” button.
Step 9: with all this done, you will be taken to the page that congratulates you for registering with Amazon Affiliates. They also inform you of your unique member ID.
You will still see some initial information about your account. This includes the fact that your registration is reviewed after the first time that a link from you materializes in an order on Amazon.
Step 10: now that you have your registration and profile ready, it's time to go to the Members' Portal, which you can do at this link. This is where you see your earnings overview, the monthly commission summary and where you get your personalized links.
Just search for a product in the search bar and get the link that Amazon provides directly. Pretty simple, isn't it ?!
