Using the Yahoo Mail calendar
As mentioned above, the Yahoo Mail calendar is very easy and fast to use in most situations. You can look at it just to keep track of certain dates or create your own events.
It is as simple as what we see in Outlook or Gmail, so there is nothing to lose with it. To learn more about creating your own events in the Yahoo Mail calendar, follow these steps:
Step 1: To get started, you must log in to your Yahoo Mail account. With that done, look at the top right of the home screen and click on the calendar icon.
Step 2: this will open a small monthly calendar in this same window. To continue, click on “Create event” just above the calendar.
This is how you can create new events on specific days and times using the Yahoo Mail calendar.
Step 3: When doing this, we will have a section just to adjust the details of the event you want to create. This includes its title, the day and time it starts and ends, if it lasts all day, etc.
If you want or need to, you can still add potential guests who will also be notified of the event. Other than that, you can place the location if it is going to occur in a specific place.
If you have guests or need to remember the address on the spot, this is a good option.
Step 4: Below, you can also enter a description of that event. Again, if you have guests for this event, the description turns out to be extremely useful for them.
The last option allows you to post what reminder you would like to have when the day and time of the event arrive. Basically, it is how long in advance you want to be reminded of it.
You can choose between 5 minutes and 14 days before the event. When you have done everything you want, click "Save" to proceed.
Step 5: well, with all this done, we can only go back to the calendar and see if everything is right. When looking at the day of the event, you will see that there is a gray ball under it.
Other than that, you can see at the bottom that it shows all the details of that day's event. You can still change these details later if necessary.
