Well, first of all, it's important to download Inshot on your smartphone if you don't already have it. The application itself can be downloaded for free and works well on both Android and iPhone.

It would be great to see some kind of web or PC version someday, but there doesn't seem to be any plans for that today. Still, you can download it right now by accessing the Google Play or App Store.

It is worth mentioning that some features of the app are only available in the paid version, but to put music in a photo this does not apply. So, just install the app and get started!

Put music in photo on Inshot

With Inshot installed on your Android or iOS phone, open it to see the home screen. As the app does not require an account or login, you can choose between the option “Video”, “Photo” or “Collage” right away.

The most intuitive thing here would be to click on “Photo”, but actually, we want to click on the option “Videos”. After all, you can only put music on videos, but you can still only put photos using this option.

That's exactly what we'll do on the next screen. Click on the “Photo” tab and select the images you want to use.

You can select just one photo or several of them, so it's up to you. When finished, just click on the confirmation icon.

Next, you’ll see the photos you’ve chosen in a timeline type, as if you were editing a video. If you chose only one photo, you will see that it basically repeats itself several times.

Click on the "Music" option to proceed to the next step.

When you do this, you will see that you have the option to put music in photo, sound effects that the app itself offers or to record something right away. It is also possible to make changes to the original audio of the video only if you prefer.

When choosing “Songs”, you will have a few options for what to do. In "Featured", you will see songs that are very popular being provided in the app.

In the option “My music”, you will see songs that you have stored on your smartphone.

In the "Effects" tab, you will see a large number of different effects that you can also add with or without the music.

Whichever you prefer, you will then have to choose the song or effect and it will be added to a timeline in this menu. If you click on “Edit”, we still have the option to change that audio a little.

As you can see, there are interesting options on how to edit the audio. It is not at all advanced, but it breaks the branch well.

When you're done, just go back to the app's home menu and click on the “Save” option. Click the other save button again to confirm the action.

Then, the app will still offer some quality options where the new video can be saved. Choose the one you prefer, but usually the highest is best.

After all, you can still share the video on your social networks as well as save it on your phone. Just click on the network you prefer.
