IPhone weather: how to put it on the locked screen

There is no doubt that most people like to have some weather forecast app on their smartphone. This is especially true for apps that have widgets that are easy to place on the home screen so you always know more about the weather of the day. Only those who have a smartphone with iOS 12 or higher, can put the weather forecast on the iPhone even on the locked screen.

This is possible with the “Do Not Disturb” mode, which has received some interesting updates since the arrival of iOS 12 a few years ago. With this function, you can already see the weather forecast on the iPhone as soon as you wake up and without even having to unlock the device. As we mentioned earlier, to put the weather forecast on the iPhone on your locked screen, you need to have at least iOS 12 installed. Of course, devices with iOS 13, iOS 14 or higher also work this way.

Knowing that your iPhone is compatible with the functionality, it's time to put this weather forecast on your lock screen. The process is very simple and should not take more than a few minutes.

Step 1: to get started, open your iPhone settings in the “Settings” app. Once this is done, click on the “Do Not Disturb” option at the beginning of the screen.
