James Delivery: how to do grocery shopping through the app

While delivery apps like iFood and UberEats are a hit with those who order food from different restaurants, there are services aimed especially at grocery shopping. This includes James Delivery, which has drawn a lot of attention during the quarantine caused by the Coronavirus. After all, without the possibility of leaving home, it is much better to order everything you would need from a market in a mobile app.

Where to download the app

Before we delve deeper into how to use James Delivery, it’s worth telling how and where you can download it. Even having an official website, all orders are made through the mobile app, so it is best to install it on your smartphone as soon as possible.

You can do this on Android through the Google Play Store and on the iPhone through the App Store. The app and its use are free, and you only pay for orders you make within the app in different markets and establishments.

How to use James Delivery

With the James Delivery app installed, it's time to learn how to use it to do your grocery shopping. To get started, just open the app on your smartphone for the first time.

Step 1: When you open the app, you’ll either have to sign in to your account or create one. Even if you don't have an account yet, it is very simple to create and requires only your name, email and password.

Step 2: Then, you should read and see if you agree with the terms of use of the app. If you accept, just check the box and click on “Continue using the app”.

Step 3: the James Delivery home screen will receive you below. Here, you choose whether you want to take a general look at the app’s establishments or whether you want to search for a specific one.

This is up to you, as it depends on what you want to order. But just select the supermarket you prefer.

Step 4: If it’s in the “Markets” section, you’ll see the most popular options on the home screen.

Step 5: When selecting a market, you’ll see different product sections. You can view them one by one or search for the products you want in the search bar.

Step 6: If you use this search bar, just type the word related to the product you want. This will cause different brands or types of the same product to appear.

Step 7: if you want the type of product you want, you will see the different brands. To add any of them to your cart, just click on the “+” icon.

You can add more than one or remove products from the cart right there.

Step 8: Once you have all the supermarket products you want, it's time to check your shopping cart at James Delivery. When you do this for the first time, you will see that we still have to register the delivery address and payment method.

Step 9: When clicking on the option to add the address, we will have a few different options. If you have GPS on, the app will already have a sense of where you are.

Step 10: you can only specify the number and complement of your address if applicable. If the app has not got your address right, just enter your zip code and complete the rest.

Step 11: When choosing the option to add a form of payment, you can insert a credit card. Just enter the requested data and click on “save”.

Step 12: with all this done, just go back to the order screen. Then, click on “Order Now” and you will see the forecast of when your order should arrive at the address entered.
