Meet the Samsung smartphones that will receive Android 10

In August of this year Google announced the new version update of its operating system – Android 10. With this, users are always wondering if their own smartphone models will be compatible and will receive the system update as soon as possible. To help you answer the question about which Samsung smartphones will receive Android 10, we've brought you a list that was initially posted on an unofficial Facebook page.

So while it may be that not all of the mentioned devices are really right, considering the models mentioned, it is not unlikely that these really are the Samsung smartphones that will receive Android 10.

Also, it is important to keep in mind that there is still no way of knowing the date on which these models will receive the system update. Still, this information can still be really valuable, especially for those considering a new smartphone and want to make sure it gets the operating system update.

It's worth noting that virtually every device on the list was released at least in 2018 – and yet not all of them, as the Galaxy A8 +, A6s, A8s, A740s and other models like the J4 Core, J2 Core, J2 Pro and J7 Prime 2 are not present on the published list.

Also, among the list of samsung smartphones that will receive Android 10 are not some really famous models released in 2017, such as the Galaxy S8 and S8 +, or even the Galaxy Note 8+. That's because Samsung usually supports 2 major system upgrades for their devices and these devices have already received them. So if you're still using a 2017 model and want access to Android 10 as soon as possible, it may be time to get a newer smartphone.

Already considering the models on Samsung's list that will receive Android 10, it is expected that the Galaxy S10, S10 +, S10e and Galaxy Note 10 and Note10 + will probably be the first to receive this update.

Why is Android 10 worth it?

With the announcement of iOS 13, surely Google would not be left behind with the upgrade of its own operating system. By default, system upgrades typically bring significant performance improvements, allowing you to get more out of Android games or even feel more secure with upgrades aimed at enhancing the privacy of operating system users.

Also, as we mentioned at the beginning of the content, there are some news that really draw attention to this update. Namely, we can mention for example new machine learning functions – or automatic functions – such as Smart Caption, which creates legends for your videos in real time while watching them.

Or even Smart Reply, which gives you automatic suggestions on what to respond in messaging apps, taking into account how you have responded to other users in messaging apps yourself.

It's also important to consider that these system updates often solve Android's top issues without having to do anything. It's a real hand on the wheel, especially considering that – if you already have any of the Samsung devices that will receive Android 10 or models from other compatible manufacturers – you won't have to pay anything to upgrade them.
